Uploading a New File
Note: Try to keep file names short and descriptive. Filenames must be lowercase, alphanumeric, contain no special characters, and words must be separated by dashes, not spaces. When a filename includes spaces or uppercase characters, useres will be prompted to rename the file. A suggested name will appear below the name field. In most cases, choose this filename.
- Click on “Add Content"
- Click the Site Name – now go to “PDF or Document”
- A new window will open.
- Leave the “File Name” blank. The name you have given your file will be used. The public will see this name as part of the URL. If you have upper case letters or spaces, the system will provide a suggested filename.

If you click on your folder from the left-hand navigation window, the parent folder should automatically show that folder as selected. (Tip: Select the folder you want your file to go into before selectin “Add Content.” This way, users will not have to select the placement folder. It will have been selected for you.)
- Now go to the centre where it says “Drop files here or choose some from your computer” and browse to or drop the file there.
- Click the three dots at the top right of your page.
- On the next screen click “Submit”
- If you are ready for this to be live click "Publish"
- To insert the file onto a page, navigate to the page on which you want the file to appear, add text and link to the file.
