Headings and Titles
Please be sure to read about accessibility and headings on our Creating Accessible Content page.
The largest heading we have is an "H1" heading. It is is used only once at the top of your page as it is your top level heading or title. You do not add this to the content area. It is automatically completed by Cascade and forms the “Title” field at the top of the page.
When creating your page, give your page a "Title" and replicate it in the “Display Name” field, as that will be used in the website breadcrumbs. Your "Display Name" and "Title" should be the same.

The second level heading or subhead is the H2 tag.
To add a subhead to a page, select the text you want to turn into a subhead, select “Formats” in the Cascade text editor, select "Headings," and then “Heading 2” from the pop-out menu.

Below is a sample of the headings on a web page. The only headings used in the main content areas are “Heading 2" and "Heading 3."
