Co-operative Education Program - Physics
The University of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Co-operative Education Program is designed to integrate classroom learning with real-world experience. Through the Faculty of Business and Economics department, students will participate in a series of workshops focused on building their professional development skills, such as writing a resume, preparing for successful interviews and how to conduct a job search; followed by networking opportunities and attending various career fairs.
Applying as a Physics student brings you new and exciting opportunities in industry, and help you to edge out the competition with your unique physics skills such as: critical thinking, flexibility, scientific computing, mathematical, and technical laboratory skills. Students will apply for jobs and typically find opportunities during the summer months to work – bridging the gap from theory into practice.

Pre-Engineering
The University of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV is an excellent place to fulfill the admission requirements for the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus College of Science and Engineering, or other engineering programs. This is an exciting possibility for students who want to attend one of the top engineering schools in North America.
You can begin your degree at The University of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV by studying Physics. The Bachelor of Science (Applied Physics) 3-year degree is designed to prepare you with many of the physics skills and concepts required for an engineering degree. If you complete this degree and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (depending on the Engineering Major), you are competitive to transfer to the University of Minnesota’s engineering program.
