Congratulations on your acceptance to Graduate Studies at The University of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV!

We’ve outlined the steps between your offer of admission and first day of class below.

Accept Your Offer

Please refer to your letter of offer and the email from our Admissions Officer for instructions and deadlines.

International students should note that a $5,000 tuition deposit is required at the time they accept their offer. This deposit is applied to their tuition fees after registration. Deposits can be paid via wire transfer.

Contact graduateadmissions@uwinnipeg.ca for additional guidance on accepting your offer and paying your tuition deposit.

Apply for a Study Permit (international students only)

Unless you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you will need a valid post-secondary study permit to attend UW for longer than six months. Obtaining a permit can take several months, so submit your application as soon as you accept your UW offer. Students are advised to apply online for their study permit/visa, as paper applications could delay the process.

You may be asked by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to provide UW’s DLI number when you apply for a permit or a visa.
