12 credit hours in related areas of interest (with course work in Intro Statistics recommended)
RHET 1105/3 Academic Writing*	3 credit hours Humanities or Science***

Note: Students may use a maximum of 42 credit hours at 1000 level towards a degree.

*RHET-1105/3 is required if grade less than 80% in English 40S (2 credits) see the "Degree & Major Requirements" section of the course calendar for specific requirements.

** Students who may wish to pursue a four-year, honours or EFIN degree should take either

MATH-1101/6 Introduction to Calculus OR MATH 1103/3 Intro to Calculus I and MATH 1104/3 Intro to Calculus II

Students may not hold credit for both MATH-1101/6 Introduction to Calculus AND MATH-1102/3 Basic Calculus (Terminal).
